A Special Thank You to Our Sponsors
We’re especially grateful to our Presenting Sponsor, CarolinaEast Pediatrics, for helping make this event possible and for their ongoing commitment to youth health and wellness in Eastern Carolina.
We also extend a big thank-you to Ward and Smith, P.A. for sponsoring our Girls on the Run and STRIDE 5K participants — your support helps young people cross the finish line in more ways than one.
Know Before You Go
To make room for the festivities, our West Parking Lot and Gravel Lot will be closed to traffic. Overflow parking is available at Temple Church, and additional handicap parking will be available along the side of the main building. For everyone’s safety, the 6th Street entrance will be barricaded — please use the 5th Street entrance.
In case of inclement weather, the event will move indoors to the YMCA Gym and Activity Rooms, with the race taking place on the indoor track.
Why Healthy Kids Day Matters
At the Y, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. Healthy Kids Day isn’t just an event — it’s a moment to inspire active play, positive habits, and lifelong wellness. It’s also a beautiful example of how strong communities are built: with laughter, movement, and meaningful connection.
We hope to see you there!
