OUR FACILITIES
TWIN RIVERS YMCA
The Twin Rivers YMCA main building (42,000 sq. ft.) is comprised of the Membership Service Desk/Lobby, Rec Station, Free Weight Room, Weight-Resistance area, Cardio Room, two Group Fitness rooms, Youth & Family Services Room, Child Watch area, Gym (with raised walking track), Racquetball Court, and four locker rooms (Men, Women, Boys, and Girls.) Located within the main building is the Indoor Pool, accessible by all four locker rooms.
In addition to the main facility, the Twin Rivers YMCA Pool House (8,500 sq. ft.) has Men’s, Women’s, and Family locker rooms and provides quick access to the heated Outdoor Pool, Splash Pad, and Water Slide area. The Outdoor Pool is covered from October – April each year, providing an additional “indoor-like” aquatic experience during colder months.

SCHEDULE YOUR ORIENTATION
A FREE equipment orientation is offered to all members. Equipment orientation includes instructions to safely and effectively use the fitness equipment in the Cardio and Weight Resistance rooms. Appropriate closed-toed shoes must be worn during your orientation session. Register for your orientation at the Member Services Desk.

YOUTH/TEEN ORIENTATION & CERTIFICATION
Teen Certification is a one-time course for kids ages 12 – 15 years old. Participants will learn the appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities to properly use the cardio equipment and the resistance machines. TEENS UNDER 16 YEARS OF AGE ARE RESTRICTED FROM USING THE FREE WEIGHT ROOM until they receive Free Weight Room Certification.
Group Teen Certifications are held from 5 pm – 6 pm the first Tuesday of each month ($15/teen) or by appointment ($20/teen).

- Youth ages 9 – 11 years old may use the cardio and weight resistance equipment with successful completion of the Family Fitness Orientation with a parent or guardian. Guardians must stay with their children for the duration of their workout.
- Teens aged 12 – 15 years who wish to use the cardio and weight resistance equipment without guardian supervision must become “Teen Certified” before doing so. Parents are encouraged to assist their children when using equipment.
