Bringing Our Community Together: Join Us for the First Annual Community Prayer Breakfast
At the Eastern Carolina YMCA, we believe that strong communities are built through connection. That belief is at the heart of our First Annual Community Prayer Breakfast, and we are excited to invite our neighbors, partners, and leaders to be part of this special morning.
On Thursday, May 14, we will gather at the Twin Rivers YMCA for a time centered on connection, reflection, and inspiration. Breakfast will begin at 6:30 am, followed by a program at 7:30 am. This event is open to individuals from all faiths and walks of life, creating a welcoming space for our community to come together and share in a meaningful start to the day.
One of the highlights of the morning will be our guest speaker, Willie Spears. Coach Spears is a nationally recognized speaker, author, and educator with more than 30 years of experience working with leaders and communities across the country. His message will focus on leadership, service, and the values that help bring people together and strengthen communities.
The Community Prayer Breakfast is designed to be more than just an event. It is an opportunity to pause, connect with others, and be encouraged by the shared commitment to making our community stronger. Whether you are a faith leader, community partner, or simply someone who cares deeply about this community, there is a place for you at the table.
There is no cost to attend, and breakfast will be provided. Seating is limited to 150 guests, and advance registration is required.
We hope you will join us for this meaningful morning as we come together and begin what we hope will become a lasting annual tradition.
